    .

Subjects of the theoretical course:

Practical training:

  • The course starts with aeronautics practices; candidates learn how to manoeuvre safely in the air

  • Navigation knowledge

  • The course includes "solo" flights too: no teacher on the board, only you

  • If you have successfully completed the training, you can validate your knowledge by an official exam

  • After the exam, the National Aviation Administration (NKH - LH) will issue a private pilot license→ you can fly independently.

Training period:

This depends on how busy you are, how much time you can spend on learning on weekly basis. Ideally, training takes 2-4 months.

A candidate of mine achieved exam level in a month, but this was very intense.

It is not recommended to spend more than six months; if we meet rarely a part of the training is about the same topics. If there is a long pause between two flights, things will not be memorized, especially at the early phase.)
